Artist: Faith Evans
Album: Keep The Faith
Title: Never Gonna Let You Go

if i had one wish boy
I'd wish you next to me
And it could be in summer, fall or spring boy
Cause you make my heart sing
I wanna give my heart, my soul, my love to you
Oh baby, yeah
Cause every day i'm not with you
I'm missing you like crazy
I need for you to love me

1 -- love me
Hold me
Touch me
Down deep in my soul
And never let it go
Cause the love we share
No one compares to you
I'll never let you go
Cause i really love you so
Oh i, i'll never let you go, oh no

You must know the truth boy
I'm nothing without you
It's funny how i know what people mean boy
When it's too good to be true
Because you give me joy, good love,
Good times, such happiness, oh yeah
And every day i thank the lord for you
I feel so blessed
I need for you to love me

Repeat 1

If you only knew
What you really do
Ain't ever had no one that does it quite like you do
You could spend half a lifetime
Trying to find one like you,
That`s why i am so glad i found you, babe
I wished upon a star and it came true
Darling, i need for you to love me

Repeat 1

p/s : i heart this song so much ! i'm gonna list it in my top ten wedding song list. *wink* o yeah, Happy New Year girls and i hope it's not too late to say Merry Christmas too all !

Jenie

My side of the story ~ Eleanor~

It was awesome! Double Awesomeness. No.. Make it Triple Awesomeness! (trying to find the right word that really depicts or describe what a great night the three of us had ~ Mua, Cornn & Indennn ~ and Angela DeSilva was also present!).

Right after I fetched Corn at her house, we immediately took the shortcut to Inden's . She was having trouble with transportation so I was happily offering myself to go and pick her up! Yay! The last time I went to her house was like 12 years ago but I managed to find her crib fairly easy. I remembered there were not a lot of houses near hers back then? Inden haven't got ready when we arrived, so we had a chat with her mum and sis Karen which is obviously shocked at how skinny I was. LOL. I was plump before and being skinny is so not nice lahhh. Ok2 I admit, I'll just eat more! Wakakakakak...While waiting for Inden to get ready, she was super nice to sponsor us with biscuits and *coughing* Carlsbergs. A good way to warm up I guess. We headed down to KK around 10.30 and we took the Tanjung Lipat road to the city ..which was slightly jammed. A lot of people were actually at the new spot at Tanjung Lipat to celebrate the countdown. Honestly, most of the people I saw moving around were not locals...Maybe they were only 20% of the locals compared to 'other' nationalities.

We reached Rumba around 11 and damn, it was jammed-pack. Shoulders brushing each other and I was like an orange squashed in a sea of humans. But a lot of cute guys were present. LOL. so I don't really mind the squashing (yeehaa). It was a Masquerade night but we didn't actually followed the theme. Hehehe. The place was a lot crowded than usual and I should have expect that to happen. It's New Year's eve mind you. It however made dancing a lot harder as you have very limited space to move around. Since people are moving in and out, from one side to another, from one end to the other end, it made Rumba seem so busyyyyy. But it was all good. It's better than hot chocolate I presume! There were a lot of ex-schoolmates from my days in St. Agnes and how I wish I could talk to them somewhere else. I was not feeling that comfortable enough to have a good conversation as people seem to bump with each other and I was busy adjusting myself to a proper standing ovation! So there was Surren, Jessica, Khairul, Lester, Danielle, Chua Sing Yee, Michelle, Jojo & who else? It was all blurryyy and I was sweating like hell. I had to put my hair up in a ponytail, just 5 minutes being inside. Urghh. A million apologies guys, I would love to spend the night catching up with everyone but urghh. I hate it when I pissed you off with a lot of "Huhh?? Whatt?? I couldnt hear a thing you're saying!" LOL.

Everyone was busy greeting each other with Happy New Year that night. I even had happy New year wishes from other clubbers (which I'm not familiar with) while finding my ways to the washroom, which was just like 30 steps from where we were standing. But that 30-step distance took 15 minutes to reach! So I was replying with "Happy new year to you too!" for every single step I took. People tend to be a lot friendlier on New Year's Eve. I wonder why. Hahahaha. We had Tequila for the night.

Right after Rumba, we decided to head down to BarSu at waterfront and meet up with a few other friends, Triple J,ShamAdz, HottieYasmin, Romy & etc. (I'm not sure who the others were, I'll check in Facebook.. who else were present tu??). Triple Jay corroded us with Black Label, Long Island & Kilkenny. and remembered the Tequila we had at Rumba? We officially had a diverse mixture of drinks and luckily I didn't feel like throwing up. I was damn sleeppy though. Inden and Corn still had the energy to dance to the 80's vibe at BarSu while I'm busy trying to find the correct angle at the couch to rest my head! I had a two minute nap I guess. LOL. Inden & I did the MJ's moonwalk and boy, you can only find us publicly doing that move on New Year's Day. Angela went to meet us BarSu as she was with her friends at BED. So she stayed on for a while only. Next time make it a longer visit ok! And owh, I saw an Angel at BarSu ~ with wings! I'm blessed now. We are all blessed. and you girls tried to steal his white wingsssss! I think the Angel then flew away. Takuttt bahhh. LOL!

and hey.. just for the record.. I met Bob on New Year's Day..when I was obviously sleepy and drunk. Duhh. He was whispering 'you are already not stable nihh" and walked us to the car..LMAO. Yeah2.

Inden took the wheels and drove Corn and herself back. I was at the backseat making sure I still have my cell, cash and IC in my pocket.. luckily I didn't lose anything...except a bit of my senses. I left some at Rumba, and more at BarSu. Lalalalala.

I reached home around 5am and I didn't managed to go into the shower. I was sleeping wearing my jeans. terus pengsannn. Woke up at 3pm because I was hungry. I still have a mild headache up till now but it was worth it. I'll game for more!

P/S: Kasian si Girllyen, she called me up and sedih sy dengar her voice yang geram ndak dapat ikut. Hehehehe.

Rumba Latin Grill & Bar, Dec 6 2008

This will be a short entry as I am caught with the bloody cough again wtf. aduss.. Dangerous tul this weather nih..

Saturday - December 6, 2008

Len fetched me at home around 8.20pm. After taking out some cash, we headed to Cock and Bull at The Waterfront for our 'warming-up' session. Had a jug of draft beer and two pitchers of Long Island Cocktail. The warming-up session that was supposed to makes us warmed-up turned slightly over-warmed as both girls felt dizzy afterwards. *Lol*
Around 10.45pm, we went to STAR to picked up Veralyn, our classmate back in high school. As Len was a bit dizzy, she let me drive her car then. I was a bit nervous as that was my first time driving in KK (believe it or not!). Everything was okay for the first 3 minutes but later the car got stuck in front of a flock of ppl waiting for bus. Wtf. Len was like calming me down, asked me to free gear, started the engine, pushed into gear one, and pressed the accelerator. So I took a deep breath and start pressing the accelerator but the car wont jalan. Wtf. I was like panicked for awhile. Wild thought were running thru my head as the car repeatedly mati, mati and mati. Lol. After several pathetic attempts, I decided to bend down only to realize I was stepping on the wrong pedal. Instead of pressing the accelerator, I was jamming the brake pedal. Wtf. wtf. wtf. wtf. How can I be such an idiot? Wtf. After realizing what had happened, I told Len and we were laughing hysterically.
We arrived at the STAR around 11.10pm and picked up Girl with her bf. Then headed down town again to drop Girl's bf at The Waterfront. At the roundabout just before Waterfront, the engine mati again.. this time it happened with Girl and bf inside the car. argghh.. kin malu ja.. ok.ok enuf crap. Malas sy mau ingat lagi. *Lol*
ok peeps. my entry will end here. the rest of the story/reviews can be read at Eleanor and girllyen blogs. i only upload the pics okay. the rest of the pics can be view from mine's Cornelia Enjoy.

We've been hooked on..

Our fabulous outing last week. *wink*

Friday - 28 Nov 2008

Me and Len decided to check out this place after getting good reviews of the band from Andrew (Len's bro). We arrived there around 9.45pm. It was too early actually, only few ppl were there when we arrived. We choose to sit in front of the band. I was so wrong when I thought the place was occupied with older ppl who-love-to-dance-some-crazy-Cuban-dances-and-smoke-cigar a.k.a. curut *lol*.. The place was like full of young peeps actually. Yay! *grin*
we were cam-whoring in the err.. restroom

my fave pic.

*1st Round*

Place: Rumba Le Meridien Hotel Kota Kinabalu
The drinks: Mojito (we both order the same Cocktail)
Price: RM22 (exclusive of the GST and Service Charge) which is quite okay. I like this signature drink of Rumba but the thing that pissed me off was the fact that the bartender put too many damn mint leaves in my cocktail I felt that I was drinking and sucking some weird leaf thru my straw. Wtf. (refer the pics)
The Coram: both of us.. only
Time: 9.45pm – 11.25pm
The Setting: very Latin-like (is it? Well, I'm referring to the motifs on the table actually *duh*). The place a bit small but hey, it more intimate what. But i still prefer Cocoon's setting compare to this place. The stool somehow looks plain unattractive, I mean this is a place managed by the hotel (not a stand-alone place like Cocoon) so I expect the setting will be a bit posh.
The Band: Switch Groove (or Grove, I'm not sure wtf) is a 7-piece Filipinos band consisting of ermmm.. very handsome male vocs and drummer. Playing wide selection of music (and latest music which is super fantastic).
The Crowd: slow in warming up. The crowd started to fill in after 11pm. We left due to the ke-boring-an. What to do, we arrived damn early wtf. But we did make a mental note to visit again.

this is Len's Mohito
Len, why your Mohito look a bit whittish here?
this is mine.
see i told you. its full of weird leafs.
the stool a.k.a stone cold wtf

Switch Groove yang pemalu.. they doesnt want to see when i snap one.

Len with her DSLR

nda abis2 camwhoring in the restroom, wtf

*2nd Round*

Place: C&B, The Waterfront
The drinks: Draft beers
Price: The actual price is RM54++ but we get like RM44 only (we get this special rate for being regulars there, how many times do I need to mention that wtf).
Time: 11.40pm- 2.30am
The Crowds: By the time we arrived, some of the crowds were left already. So it’s a bit dull. However there's this one political public figure with his gang hanging out there (Sabahan MP yg suka sgt ckp di parlimen tu, wtf). He did sung couple of songs that night. The 1st song was quite okay, not bad I would say. But when he started to sing the 2nd one, I think I wanna puke oo dat time considering his voice yang "mengacam kalbu" wtf. I secretly wanted to snap his pic when he was having fun menggatal with the waitresses but wtf, it's none of my business. *lol*

big boys play at night. see you at 11pm.
(pause)
yer right
*LMAO*

Saturday – 29 November 2008

Len texted me around 8.30pm, we made a plan to go to Rumba again, just to see what exactly we missed out the night before. Len picked me up at home after her cousin's wedding dinner and we went straight away to Rumba. This time, Andrew (Len's bro) joined us. Yay! We arrived there around 11.30pm and managed to get a seat (yes, its only one seat dahhling) at the bar. The theme for the night was Prom-Nite. I don’t even know Rumba got a different theme every week. Wtf, belasah ja la. Janji pakai dress. Wah!

The Coram: Me, Len & Andrew
Time: 11.30pm – 2.30am
The Drinks: Long Island Cocktail for the ladies and Andrew opted for Vodka
Price: RM54++ (for both Cocktails) + Vodka shot (RM??)
Great companion to the drinks: Marlboro Light & Winston Light
The Crowds: Too crowded but we don’t care cos the band was just amazing, they belting out more & more catchy songs I found myself tapping my feet on the floor. I instantly fall in love with the band when they sung my fave number Just Dance from Lady Gaga, I went berserk for awhile wtf. The female singer saw me dancing with Len and pulled the two of us to the dance floor. I was so ashamed I don’t want to dance on the dance floor as I was wearing a Freebra (a backless, strapless as it was attached to the body with special glue on the inner corner of the bra) and I was so worried it might fall off my boobs wtf. I just want to ignore the possibilities of a major wardrobe malfunction so i danced my way back to the bar in 2 seconds like, errr.. an idiot. wtf wtf wtf wtf. The scene always finds its way to replay over and over again in my head and I swears I've gone nuts already.. argh… kimak tul. Anyway, I noted the crowds were friendly here and as usual we made new friends that night. The Manager, Mr. Vernon Faiz was sweet too. Thanks for the drinks and the friendliness (I'm sucks in describing ppl.. Len, help me here.. *wink*) and also Mr. Idris Ahmad, the Assistant F&B Manager for being able to keep up with our crazy behaviors *evil grin*

this is Andrew.
these 2 pics were the only pics that i managed to snapped on Saturday.
after that, my battery went flat.

**cornelia**

p/s Len, tell your side of the story k..

Eleanor's side of the story.

Pheww.. Corn, great job with the reviews! I think you have mentioned all those fine points. Anyhow, here goes my side of the story.

Saturday November 29th, 2008

One word: Marvelicious! The end. I kid I kid. Haha.

I texted Cornelia around 8.30pm asking her out for a drink. I was estatic when she said "Ok bah. Jam brapa?". Immediately after my Cousin's wedding reception came to an end, I actually walked so fast that it seems like I was running to my car. Fetched Corn around 11pm at her house when I promised her I would reach there by 10.30pm. So not punctual.

Rumba here we come!

Honestly, I'm super-impress with the band, Switch Groove (and honestly, I only knew the band's name when I was reading Corn' s post). I keep referring them as "band hensem2". Possibly they should consider to change their band's name to We are the Handsomes. I kid. Hehehe. Switch Groove sounds more like a sceintific name for a coconut tree (maybe I'm just plain weird) but coconut pun coconut lah. I was amazed. The word is Awestruck. Damn it. They are now becoming our latest addictions. I wonder whether it's a good thing or not? *winkwink*

We opted for Long Island (a safe bet) and skipped the ever-popular drink in Rumba; Mojito, which we had on Friday night. The mint leaves were refreshing but too much of those leaves swimming inside your glass is not attractive at all. Corn was like sipping leaves down her throat. She was busy pulling the plants out of her glass and ended up filling the entire ashtray. Pity her though.

They were having this Prom Night - the place was bit crowded and we managed to find only one seat at the bar so Corn & I took turns to sit but we were 80% dancing and standing while listening to the band's performance. I managed to 'steal' a stool from the table beside us for my brother. I was loving the fact that the majority of the crowd are fresh young adults. Musics were blasting off the speakers, alternately changing from live performance and DJ's records in an interval of 20-30 minutes per performance . Guess Corn & mua was enjoying the music, dancing to our crazy beats while laughing hsyterically. I somehow feel we look kinda funny but I rather be funny than trying to do an imitation of the Pussycat Dolls. Few girls joined in the fun and I supposed it made the dancing a whole lotta fun. Then... we got invited. Invited for what? Invited by the female vocalist to dance with her in front of the crowd.. Phew. I wonder whether it was our wall-breaking laughing volume that made her noticed us? We are officially loud. Woohoo. Dang and dang and dang!

Made new friends that night and exchanged numbers with other new girls and possibly will once again do the group dance. However, Cornn & mua would like to have our sudah-lama-kenal girlfriends (N & jenie, Veralyn etc) to join in the fun! So hopefully no excuses oh. Hehehe.

Last but not least, "Alcohol doesn't solve problems, but to think back..neither does milk". Weee.

The End (am not kidding).

shots of wacky Corn & Mua.

(quoting corn "I went berserk!")

Nite Out Vol. 2

ui ui everybody.Teehee.. nothing much actually, just posting few pics from last friday outing. fyi, the pics were from len and snapped using her D60. i have million things in mind to write & brag here *lol* but i guess i was just lost in translation.. *big grin* well, i must say the outing was quite interesting (as usual). as len have quoted in our YM conversation earlier this morn, we've got lotsa "can-i-buy-u-a-drink" offers.. haha.. mcm celebrity ooo.. *LMAO*

so after countless pitchers of long island, we went home happy and dizzy gaban. *lol* here goes the pics.. sekian terima kasih.

i particularly love this pic of len. her smile looks great here..

i look fat in this pic.. *duhh*

a night out at C&B

I adore this photo of cornn. Posted it in my photoblog theloveforprettythings.wordpress.com as it proves to be one of my favourite.

uwhhh.. it took me ages to post . sorry peeps. Cornn & I went out for the usual Friday session (October 31st '08), supposed to have Anne & Jen that night but due to some unforeseen circumstances, they did not managed to come. The two of us started the session quite early around 8.30pm and lasted until 3am. We had a lot of drinks that night - a variety!! We had three jugs of beers, three pitchers of long island and a bottle of Lambrusco..and for the record, we err.. didnt pay a cent. The drinks kept coming to our table; sponsored by someone *names to be kept anonymous* .. Cornn & I looked at each other, paused for a moment and laughed. There were only the two of us but our table looked like there were 10 people drinking with all the varieties there. *sighs* N & jen should have come bahh..hehehehehe. So we had the waitresses, the bartenders and the band to help us finish everything.. :)

One of the funniest thing that happened that night was the fact that there was this girl who I assume was so damn drunk started jumping here and there. At first, I thought she was moving her body to the groove but it felt a bit weird as she was running and jumping from one end to another. My jaw dropped. Then I realized she was drunk. Really really drunk. The worst part was that Cornn & I saw her being carried out by a group of 5 guys escorted by one of her gurlfrens. She pengsan bahh!! Krazii...felt sorry for her but hey, that suck. Rody & Ben went to check us out at C&B and we moved to another clubhouse but was not feeling that excited there as the girls who came with Rody & Ben were all the shy-shy ones. LOL.

Texas Grill & Bar (in front of Hyatt Regency Kinabalu and between Upperstar & Cocoon)

Good day girls! hope u girls had a nice long weekend last week because i did! hehehe.. went to Mai Aman Garden & Homestay with my man & his friends. lovely place to unwind but i don't have those pictures when we were there. will post about it once i get the pictures. *smile*

Well, finally i have the time to post out pics at Texas.

anne's chicken burger with fries (can't recall the name of the food). look at that big patty!! that was huge. the buns were smaller than the patty, so it was hard to eat it like an everyday burger in fastfood outlets. the beverages we ordered was ok. we ordered lemonade & chocolate smoothies. side dish ordered was onion rings. big onion rings!! bigger than in BK's.

i ordered fish & chips (can't recall the name of the food..nanti kita pg check sama2) see..how big the portion was!! i can't finish the whole food, so, i decided to tapau for may cats at home.

these are all the pics i have. remains are with anne. happy makan-ing!

BB Cafe (Near Rainforest cafe - Ex-KK Sugarbun)

I had dinner with my parents and brother at YuKee last night. After dinner we went straight to BB Cafe to chill. There's a three-piece live performance there (2 vox and a keyboardist). The performance was ok and seems like all these tourists like to sit there to hang out since it's very near to one of the Backpackers lodge (could not remember the name). Beers were not expensive. less than 30 for a bottle of two. There was a shisha booth also. My brother & I wanted to try out one but the booth was closed. We end up taking beers only. Above is part of the BB Cafe bar.

23 October 2008

my lunch with corn

I took one day off from work last Monday (on the 20th Oct) as I needed some rest after a very tiring week - Damai Hospital participated in the SIE2008 Exposition and I was at 1Borneo for 6 consecutive days from 8am to 8pm. I had to settle a few of my bills and need to go the tailor to get something done on Monday morning. Decided to have a quick lunch with Cornn at a nearby chinese shop (just beside the Mega Pavillion Cinema carpark, i forgot the shop's name - so sorry). So above is a photo of the food we ate. I asked for konlaumee and Corn asked for the same thing. The weird thing was that i was given konlaumee with seafood soup and corn was given konlaumee with minced chicken. I'm allergic to seafood but owh what the heck, I just ate the mee and slices of fish. I was wondering what makes them think I was asking for seafood. Maybe next time I should really point at the menu picture so there's no reason for them to deliver something totally opposite of what I requested. I had teh c ping and cornn had kichai ping. Our food cost rm4.50. A reasonable price i guess. I was not really enjoying my food but the mee was ok. Cornn was ok with hers to. For the rating, i'll give it a 3? What do you think?

wine & weekend

CAT AMONGST THE PIGEONS 'FAT CAT' SHIRAZ CABERNET 2007
Winery: Rosedale Wines
Variety: Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon
Year: 2007
Region: Barossa Valley – South Australia

My bro bring this wine back home last friday after getting it from a friend at his workplace. since he did not favour the taste of wine, i took the chance to 'try & tested' the wine (umm, i'm a novice in wine tasting/drinking actually.. hehe). so, i ended up drinking 'em for 3 consecutive days (minum skit2 ja..). its weird but the wine smells strong mcm tapai oo.. *lol* but the taste was definitely smooth compared to the 1st wine i drank at STAR last august. the packaging (bottle itself) looks great too. other than that, i did not notice as i was too bz watching ANTM on channel V. *lol*

Life is just simply too short ...

This early morning, i received a msg from natt.. it was a very sad & shocking news.. never thought that life is just simply too short for us to enjoy it to the fullest.. my condolences to a dear friend, veralyn & family of the demise of her father. May God give him eternal rest and may his soul rest in peace. It had really struck me and out of a sudden i cried. i have had really take things for granted in my life. especially on things that affect those people whom i care so much.. i am really enjoying life and it only hits me when i came to something unexpected. well, I'm a human being with lots of needs to be fulfilled after all.. and still trying my best to live the complicated life these days.

Extra-Friendly!

I followed my parents to Karamunsing Complex just now and I tagged along my new love - D60 with me. I have no idea what photos to capture so I randomly started snapping photos here and there. Only when I reached home, transferred the pictures to my notebook, did I realize there's a guy from one of the food stall, smiling and showing a peace sign! *please refer to the above pic*. I don't blame him because I'll most probably act the same way. Gerenti Interframe punya. *LOL*. Sabahan's are extra friendly I guess. Proud to be one. Woohooo. *Len*

P/s:
I had ngiu chap kon lau mee. It cost MYR5.50. It tasted good even with the lack of presentation qualities.

a ScreenShot of how our Blog looks like.

*Len* I run out of things to write. So what I did was basically doing a Print Screen of our blog. *giggles*
